Drew McIntyre has reacted to his WWE Championship victory on tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Berlin, Germany.
Tonight’s show was headlined by a Three Stages of Hell encounter between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, the final clash between the two men for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Drew would end up picking up the win in the first fall after a low blow while the referee was distracted, before Cody would even the score with the win in the Falls Count Anywhere match.
The final fall took place inside a Steel Cage, with Jacob Fatu making his return in the closing moments of the match, attacking both Drew and Cody.
Cody and Jacob would end up brawling while Drew escaped from the Cage to win the championship, his fourth World Championship of his career.
Taking to Twitter following the show, Drew shared a photo of him with the title and the caption:

Drew’s first challenger for the WWE Championship will be determined at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal in two weeks.
Qualifiers for the match take place next week, with The Miz vs. Randy Orton, Trick Williams vs. Matt Cardona, Damian Priest vs. Solo Sikoa and Ilja Dragunov vs. Sami Zayn set for the show.
