Drew McIntyre’s latest heinous act saw him tear CM Punk’s bracelet apart on the August 2 episode of WWE Raw.
The bracelet had been an instrumental part in the feud between the pair, with Punk regaining it at WWE Bash in Berlin.
With Punk wanting to put the feud behind him, McIntyre had other thoughts, as can be seen in the video footage below this news story.
Once again seizing Punk’s bracelet, McIntyre didn’t keep it for long, choosing to destroy, feed the beads to his fallen foe and brutalize him for good measure.
The fan who crafted the original bracelet has tweeting about meeting CM Punk at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024, writing:
“Thank you @CMPunk, 12 year old me and 24 year old me are both crying definitely worth the wait :’)”
After last night’s WWE Raw, McIntyre hunted down that tweet and reposted it with a message of his own that read:
“His blood is on your hands.”
The fan had a brutal response of her own to the former WWE World Champion, reminding him:
“5 minutes 46 seconds”
5 minutes 46 seconds was the length of time that McIntyre was WWE World Champion at WrestleMania 40 defeating Seth Rollins until Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase for the win thanks, in part, to Punk.
She has also reacted to the bracelet being destroyed on last night’s WWE Raw, tweeting:
“Welp since the bracelet is broken i would like to thank @WWE and @CMPunk for the craziest 5 months ever.
“I have been a fan of WWE for over half of my life and i never would have imagined anything like this happening to me i am so grateful <3
“(@DMcIntyreWWE watch your back)”
It has previously been reported that McIntyre and Punk will face each other again at WWE Bad Blood in October 2024.
