Drew McIntyre has subtly addressed fan criticism of his alliance with Logan Paul in WWE, which will see the pair team up at SummerSlam.

The July 12 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Paul accompany McIntyre to the ring as he faced Randy Orton, who was accompanied by Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll.

With Paul getting into the face of the country star, a tag team match was announced for WWE SummerSlam in August.

Logan Paul remains a divisive figure among a corner of fandom online, something that McIntyre referenced on Twitter.

In a post on the social media platform, McIntyre sent out the message while also referencing his own “Bored At Work” T-shirt, stating:

“The internet hates this already, which probably means it’s not actually that bad.”

The post, as can be seen below, included a photo of Paul pointing at the “Bored at Work” T-shirt, which is available on WWE Shop, as sported by McIntyre.

As if to remind fans that the shirt was available to buy, and to cast doubt over what McIntyre may be referring to, he would also include a link to the WWE Shop for all his merch.

Fan reaction would be split over McIntyre’s post, with a number of responses taking issue with plans for the star at SummerSlam.

Ahead of his match against Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre gave a positive assessment of his health, noting he was feeling the best he’s felt for “six or seven years” at a minimum.
