Drew McIntyre has stated that he wants a rematch with Brock Lesnar, this time in front of a live audience.
At WrestleMania 36, McIntyre pinned Lesnar in under five minutes to win the WWE Championship. This match took place in an empty Performance Center, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking on WWE The Bump, McIntyre praised The Beast Incarnate for his physicality inside the ropes, noting:
“I’m always excited to get into the ring with the absolute best. There’s not many that are as good or as physical as Brock Lesnar. At WrestleMania, I did defeat him in five minutes. But I would like the opportunity to face Brock again and in front of a live audience.”
Lesnar returns to action at Crown Jewel on October 21, set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. McIntyre will receive a shot at Big E’s WWE Title during the Saudi Arabia show.
An update has been provided on McIntyre after he was busted open during a tag-team match on Monday’s episode of Raw.
