Drew McIntyre returned to WWE Raw tonight in his first appearance since losing his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at Bad Blood.
Tonight’s December 3 show opened with CM Punk and Seth Rollins getting into a brawl that was swiftly broken up by Jey Uso and Sami Zayn.
The follow-up to that resulted in Rollins vs Zayn being set up as the main event.
Just before that match took place, Jey Uso was attacked backstage by a mystery assailant, who Zayn assumed to be Rollins.
During the Zayn vs Rollins match that followed, Zayn got pent up and was about to use a steel chair against Rollins before Rollins convinced him that it was someone else who attacked Uso.
However, after Zayn took a moment to get rid of the chair out of the ring, Rollins capitalized to score a roll-up win.
With Rollins heading back up the ramp and Zayn left questioning who attacked Jey, a hooded figure appeared in the ring.
The hooded figure turned out to be Drew McIntyre, who struck Zayn with a Claymore before un-hooding himself as the show went off the air.
So putting two and two together, it would appear McIntyre was the one that attacked Uso earlier on as well.
