Chaos ensued at the climax of last night’s WWE SmackDown show, when two-time NXT Champion Karrion Kross made his return to the company, attacking Drew McIntyre.
Kross was released from the company back in November following a brief four month stint on the WWE main roster, to which fans were critical of his presentation under Vince McMahon.
Kross was called up without his NXT entrance and presentation, including not having Scarlett by his side. He eventually ended up wearing leather straps and a helmet, which he and everyone else has since been rather critical of.
McIntyre made sure to poke fun at Kross’ old appearance after the show last night, taking to Twitter to write:
Was I just jumped by the guy last seen wearing bondage and a helmet? I’ve had better Fridays…
Thankfully that presentation of Kross seems to be in the past, and he seems to be being presented as a credible threat on SmackDown going forward.
Was I just jumped by the guy last seen wearing bondage and a helmet? I’ve had better Fridays…
