Drew McIntyre Reveals Who He’d Pick For New WWE Faction

WWE Raw star and two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has revealed who he’d pick if he was to be the leader of a new faction.

It appears that McIntyre may well be heading over to SmackDown in a couple of weeks, but for now, he’s on the red brand and he’s spoken highly of a couple of his colleagues.

Speaking with Turnbuckle Talk about who he’d want in a faction, Drew McIntyre said:

“Damian Priest. We’ve got a good back-and-forth the past few weeks. And you know, he thoroughly impressed me on Monday Night Raw with myself, Sheamus and himself in a Triple Threat match. He stepped up to me and Sheamus – two of the most physical wrestlers in the history of WWE, not just currently.

“Riddle as well. I think he’s so happy go lucky. I feel like it would be obvious if he was going to turn on me. I think he would foreshadow it.

“I feel like Omos could be easily swayed. He’s a big angry man but he’s got AJ (Styles) by his side. I feel like if I sat him down, had a little chat with him and pulled him to the good side, it’d be handy to have somebody who’s 7-foot-3.”

So there you have it – McIntyre, Priest, Riddle and Omos. Have fun trying to come up with a name for that group…

McIntyre has been embroiled in a feud with Jinder Mahal in recent months, and last week he teamed with the Viking Raiders to beat Mahal, Veer and Shanky.

WWE hasn’t yet announced anything involving McIntyre for tonight’s show, and because he’s been on the UK tour, he won’t be appearing unless it’s some kind of pre-taped interview segment or something like that.
