Killer Kross, fka Karrion Kross, has reacted to Drew McIntyre winning the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes on SmackDown.
McIntyre defeated Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match on January 9 to become champion, winning the final Steel Cage stage by escaping after Jacob Fatu attacked both him and Rhodes.
One of McIntyre’s former rivals has commented on the title change, with ex-WWE star Killer Kross taking to Twitter following the show.
Kross shared a photo of Drew McIntyre holding up the WWE Championship after his victory.
He captioned the photo:
You love to see it.
Kross’ first feud following his WWE return was against Drew McIntyre, with the former “Karrion Kross” beating McIntyre in a Strap match at Extreme Rules in October 2022.
McIntyre went on to defeat Kross in a Steel Cage bout at Crown Jewel 2022 the following month.
The duo most recently faced off in singles action in a dark match following the September 1, 2023 SmackDown episode.
Kross departed WWE in August 2025, following his contract expiring.
