Dustin Rhodes Shares Message For Cody Rhodes Ahead Of WrestleMania 39 AEW

Dustin Rhodes has shared a message for his brother Cody Rhodes ahead of his title match at WrestleMania 39.

Cody punched his ticket to the April 1-2 event after winning the Royal Rumble match on Saturday (January 28).

The Rumble marked the American Nightmare’s return to the ring, following his recovery from surgery to fix a torn pectoral muscle injury.

On the following episode of WWE Raw, Cody made it clear that he was targeting Roman Reigns.

WWE has now confirmed that the former AEW EVP will challenge for the Tribal Chief’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39.

When Cody first returned to WWE in April 2022, the popular star vowed to win the WWE Title in honor of his late father, Dusty Rhodes.

Dustin Rhodes has cheered Cody on, taking to Twitter to write:

Finish the story brother. #CodyRhodes

Dustin is currently signed to AEW, but his current deal with the promotion is set to expire in July.

He last wrestled on the December 14 Rampage taping, competing in 8-man tag team action.

Cody Rhodes made his singles return on the January 30 edition of Raw, defeating Finn Balor of the Judgment Day.
