Dustin Rhodes has reacted to he and Cody Rhodes’ nephews making their AEW debut in a dark match on the Saturday, August 17 edition of Collision.
At last night’s Collision taping from Arlington, TX – Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes made their AEW in-ring debut, defeating Aaron Solo and Jon Cruz in a tag team contest.
The pair are sons of Dustin and Cody Rhodes’ sister Kristen, and have been competing under the New Texas Outlaws team name.
Wayne and Wyatt recently competed at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy Showcase last month where they defeated The RWA Outlaws (Romero Crews & RTJ) to capture the RWA Tag Team Championship.
After capturing the win in their AEW debut, Dustin Rhodes would react with a proud message hailing the Rhodes bloodline and thanking AEW President Tony Khan.
Taking to Twitter, Dustin wrote:
My boys!! The #TexasOutlaws Thank you @TonyKhan for their opportunity and for the world to know…… we have a “bloodline” too!!
It remains to be seen whether Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes will make further AEW appearances, but we will provide further updates on the promising careers of the New Texas Outlaws as they become available.
