Two matches in the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic took place on 205 Live last night, and here are the results from those matches.
Firstly, Legado Del Fantasma members Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza picked up a win over the Bollywood Boyz of Samir & Sunil Singh.
Wilde & Mendoza will now go on to face the winners of Fabian Aichner & Marcel Bartel of Imperium versus the Lucha House Party duo of Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado.
The second match on 205 Live saw Drake Maverick & Killian Dain score the win over August Grey & Curt Stallion in another opening round match.
In the next round, Maverick & Dain will face MSK (the Rascalz) of Wes Lee (Dezmond Xavier) & Nash Carter (Zachary Wentz), who beat Isaiah Scott & Jake Atlas on NXT this past Wednesday.
It was announced that next week’s 205 Live will see another first round match as Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese face Ashante “Thee” Adonis & Desmond Troy, and there’ll also be a match in the women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on 205 next week too.
