The match to determine the owner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring has been set for next week’s Winter is Coming special AEW Dynamite.

The Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal took place on tonight’s (December 8) episode of Dynamite in Long Island, New York, with the final two set to face off one-on-one for the ring on next week’s show.

The ring was won both of the last two years by MJF, who competed in the Battle Royal tonight in his hometown. MJF would again make the final two, alongside Dante Martin, who eliminated Team Taz stablemate Ricky Starks last.

MJF will face off against Dante Martin for the Diamond Ring on next week’s Winter is Coming special.

Also set for next week’s show is the AEW World Championship match between Bryan Danielson and AEW World Champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

CM Punk opened up tonight’s show coming out to MJF’s theme song, before going on to cut a heel promo on the Long Island crowd.
