# Eddie Kingston AEW Injury Return Update

An update has emerged regarding the return of AEW star Eddie Kingston, 15 months since suffering a serious knee injury in his last match in May 2024.

15 months after suffering a torn ACL, torn meniscus and fractured tibia during a match with Gabe Kidd at NJPW STRONG Resurgence on May 11, 2024, Eddie Kingston has now returned to in-ring training.

Announcing the news via a post on his [Instagram Stories](https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/aew-eddie-kingston-training/), Kingston wrote “F\*\*\*ing ring”, along with a selfie.

Following the post, [PWInsider](https://www.pwinsider.com/article/199003/eddie-kingston-comments-on-return-to-inring-training.html?p=1) reached pout to Kingston for comment on his status, to which Kingston expressed his eagerness to get back to work as soon as possible, whether “backstage or in front of the camera”.

Kingston said:

*“I just want to hurry up and fight someone already in the ring. Sh\*\* ain’t easy but what the f\*\*k else am I going to do for a living? I don’t care about anything else.*

*“Backstage or in front of the camera, I don’t give a f\*\*k. I just want to be in my safe place and f\*\*k someone up.”*
