AEW’s Eddie Kingston has reacted to Cesaro’s WWE departure.
PWInsider and Fightful have confirmed that Cesaro’s WWE contract recently expired, with the two sides not able to come to terms on a new deal.
Numerous wrestling stars have taken to Twitter to send messages of support to the Swiss Superman. While Eddie Kingston definitely sent a message, it wasn’t very supportive.
Questioning whether Cesaro wants to join AEW, Kingston tweeted:
“All I am going to say is, he doesn’t have the balls to come to AEW.”
As Cesaro is a free agent, he has no non-compete clause, so is now free to wrestle wherever he likes.
More details have emerged on Cesaro’s WWE exit, including insight on a possible reason for the popular star’s departure.
