AEW star Eddie Kingston has shared his thoughts on teaming up with Claudio Castagnoli in the Blood and Guts Match on AEW Dynamite.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Claudio Castagnoli was revealed as the newest member of the Blackpool Combat Club chosen by Bryan Danielson to face Zack Sabre Jr. with Claudio getting the win.
Castagnoli will now replace Danielson and team up with Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Santana, Ortiz, Wheeler Yuta and Eddie Kingston against The Jericho Appreciation Society in the Blood and Guts Match on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Claudio and Kingston have a long and contentious history with one another from their independent days, so it is safe to say Eddie isn’t pleased with this development.
Speaking with MLive, Kingston discussed his feelings about teaming up with Claudio Castagnoli.
He said:
“Of course I didn’t like it. I don’t trust the guy. And people who say whatever they want to say about me, that I’m a hothead and I don’t let things go. I just know when I see bad people, I like to call him out on it.”
It was pretty evident at the close of the Forbidden Door pay-per-view that Eddie Kingston wasn’t happy to see Castagnoli in All Elite Wrestling with the two men yelling at each other.
Kingston also previously addressed his thoughts on Claudio’s AEW debut in a tweet after the show.
