Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara meet backstage ahead of the August 31 edition of AEW Dynamite in Chicago.
As previously mentioned, Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara had a heated backstage altercation following a promo from Guevara where his character body shamed Kingston.
This led to Kingston being suspended after he pie faced Guevara during their altercation.
PWInsider reports that Eddie Kingston returned from his suspension as of tonight’s AEW Dynamite taping in Chicago.
The report notes that multiple sources have said that Kingston and Sammy Guevara sought each other out backstage at the taping to speak to one another about what went down several weeks ago.
At the end of their discussion, the two stars shook hands and agreed the issues were in the past and everyone was moving on.
AEW President Tony Khan announced via Twitter that Eddie Kingston will face NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii on the All Out Zero Hour pre-show this Sunday, September 4.
There is no word on what Guevara’s role will be on the pay-per-view as of yet.
