Edge Addresses Dominik Mysterio’s Betrayal To Open WWE Raw

WWE Hall of Famer Edge kicked off tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw following his tag team victory with Rey Mysterio against the Judgment Day at Clash at the Castle.

After the match, Rey’s son Dominik betrayed his father, as well as Edge, leaving them laying in the ring.

Edge addressed Dominik’s turn to kick off tonight’s show, where he said that he’s always viewed Dominik as a nephew, and that he apologises for the accidental Spear on Dominik a few weeks ago.

Edge says he came back to help Dominik and Rey, not to get between them. He then said that he’s looking at Dom like a WWE superstar, not as a kid he saw grow up. He then called Dom out, threatening to ‘beat his ass’, before Rey interrupted.

Rey then asked for an apology on Dominik’s behalf, saying that he’s still Rey’s son, and asked Edge to not do this.

Instead of Dominik, Rhea Ripley came out. Rhea said that he’s not Rey’s baby boy anymore, and Rhea made him into a man. Dominik then came out and stood beside Rhea. Rey pleaded for him to make amends with Edge, but he didn’t say a word.

Rey then left Edge in the ring, noting that he didn’t want to be a part of the fight with his son. Rey then spoke to Dominik on the ramp, Dominik again ignoring him. Edge then called Dominik into the ring as Rey exited to the back.

Finn Balor and Damian Priest jumped Edge from behind, before Dominik joined the assault on Edge. Rey then came back out to save Edge, but Dominik threw his dad into Rhea, who laid him out. The Judgment Day then worked over Edge’s knee.
