Local advertising in Houston, Texas is promoting both WWE Hall of Famer Edge and former SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks for the July 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Neither Sasha Banks nor Edge have been seen on WWE TV since the week of WrestleMania, but both will seemingly be appearing on the July 16 episode of SmackDown, the first show back with fans.
The fact that Sasha Banks and Edge are set to appear on the show should also mean that the duo are involved in WWE’s plans for SummerSlam the following month, which is set to be one of the biggest pay-per-views in quite some time.
It isn’t only Edge and Sasha Banks that WWE is hoping to have back for the July 16 episode of SmackDown, as the company has reportedly discussed having John Cena back for the show, which you can read more about by clicking here.
