Edge has been out of action since Backlash due to an injury, but he’s staying in tune with things and has even said he wants to face an NXT star at TakeOver.
This was in response to Robert Stone, the comedy manager on NXT who has been looking to work with some of the biggest names in the business, and failing, to grow his Robert Stone Brand.
One of those names he reached out to was Edge, who said he’d be happy to work with Stone if a number of conditions were met.
He tweeted:
Ok @RobertStoneWWE my man! Let’s collab. Get me a match vs @FinnBalor at Takeover, I only want fuschia m&m’s(they don’t make those, so figure it out), ideas on someone to help me cosplay the pic below, crushed velvet furniture on my bus, oh yeah a bus(everyone has em now) etc etc

Stone did have a bit of success during last night’s episode of NXT, as he seems to have struck up a business relationship with Mercedes Martinez, but we’ll have to see how long his antics last until Martinez becomes impatient and fires him.
