El Phantasmo Makes NJPW Debut, Joins Bullet Club

After many rumours, El Phantasmo finally made his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut at Wrestling Dontaku Day Two.

He made his debut by joining Bullet Club and teaming with stablemate Taiji Ishimori. Together the pair of Bullet Club juniors defeated IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee and Will Ospreay in a tag team match. El Phantasmo brings a long history with Will Ospreay with him to his new promotion.

He has been confirmed as the mysterious final entrant in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. During the BOSJ reveal video, his spot was marked as “X”. Now that he is confirmed, El Phantasmo joins the other 19 confirmed participants in this year’s tournament.
