Music fans are in mourning today, because it has been announced that the much hyped Elias SummerSlam concert has been postponed. Where are those tissues?
The full night of music from WWE’s resident ‘Drifter’ was due to take place on Saturday evening at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, but will now be moved to a later date. It is worth noting, however, that at time of writing, tickets are still on sale on the Live Nation website even though the page has been pulled from WWE.Com.
Whilst there is no cause citied as of yet, it is thought the poor ticket sales to date are the main reason. The star will still perform at SummerSlam, in what is now being hyped as an extended version of his original routine – because the seven hour run-time didn’t seem nearly long enough to begin with. It is widely believed this will turn into a match with Bobby Lashley on the night.
WrestleTalk encourage you to come and discuss the Elias concert on Twitter and Discord. We want to hear your views on the star, if you enjoy his comedy role, and whether he can go further in WWE.
