A new report has emerged regarding the reason for WWE star Elias’s absence from a recent episode of WWE Raw.
Elias returned as a full-time WWE character on the October 17 edition of WWE Raw, after being mostly absent since late-2021.
Jeffrey Sciullo, who plays Elias, also wrestled as “Elias’s younger brother” Ezekiel for several months.
A tag team match between the team of Elias and Matt Riddle vs the Alpha Academy (Otis and Chad Gable) that was originally scheduled for the November 14 edition of WWE Raw was moved to the following week.
An explanation was not provided for the change at the time.
The original match was replaced by a singles match between Matt Riddle and Chad Gable.
According to Fightful Select, the match was moved because Elias was “forced to miss” the November 14 episode of the programme.
The exact reason that Elias was forced to miss the show is not yet known.
When the tag team match did place place on November 21, Elias and Matt Riddle did end up defeating the Alpha Academy.
