WWE has announced a big women’s match for next week’s (September 7) episode of WWE NXT.
At NXT Takeover 36, Kay Lee Ray made her return to NXT, staring down NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. She had an interview on this week’s show where she spoke about how she planned to dominate the US just like she dominated the UK.
This did not sit well with Ember Moon, who challenged the former NXT UK Women’s Champion to a match on next week’s NXT.

Also announced for next week’s show is an NXT Tag Team Championship match, as well as the in-ring debut of the mysterious Mei Ying.
