Yesterday, WWE confirmed that Eric Bischoff had been replaced by Bruce Prichard as the Executive Director of Smackdown.
The decision was reportedly made as WWE and FOX felt as if Bischoff was not performing well in his role, despite only being appointed a few months ago.
Despite only being fired by WWE 24 hours ago, Eric Bischoff has been confirmed for the Starrcast IV fan convention next month.
The convention is not officially linked to AEW, but does take place on the weekend of AEW pay-per-view events.
The announcement was confirmed by the convention’s organiser Conrad Thompson this evening.

It is no surprise that Thompson managed to get Bischoff to appear at the convention, especially considering the pair have a podcast together.
Make sure you mark November 7-10 in your calendars, as Bischoff will likely be speaking heavily about his most recent tenure working with Vince McMahon.
