Erick Rowan Makes Shock WWE Return, Helps Bryan Beat Styles

The last time we saw Erick Rowan, he was one half of one of WWE’s best tag teams, the Bludgeon Brothers, with partner Luke Harper.

Unfortunately, both men suffered injuries in quick succession and have therefore not been seen on WWE for several months. But all that changed last night during the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble.

Rowan appeared during a double down in the match to a very confused reaction from the crowd. After all, the last time Bryan and Rowan were in the ring together, they were beating each other up as Team Hell No took on the Hammer Bros.

Rowan was then able to enter the ring as a result of a ref bump, at which point he proceeded to chokeslam AJ Styles, giving Bryan the pinfall victory.

Rowan, who was in gear completely unrecognisable from anything he has worn before, then celebrated with the champion, making it seem as though this had always been the plan.

Could this be the start of a vegan, pro-earth faction? It immediately reminds me of the Sraight Edge Society headed by CM Punk, who were heels because they didn’t think drugs and alcohol are good.

It would be a similar scenario for Bryan, who has become one of WWE’s top heels by pointing out that we are slowly killing our planet.

Will Luke Harper be joining at a later date? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
