Ethan Page On When He Found Out About AEW Revolution Debut Plans

Ethan Page has revealed when he found out that he was going to debut for AEW during the Revolution pay-per-view.

In February, Page was revealed to be the surprise entrant for the Face of the Revolution ladder match. The former IMPACT Wrestling star has recalled his debut being up in the air due to visa issues.

Speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Page noted that he found out his role in the match about a week before the pay-per-view. Discussing the uncertain nature of the business, Page said:

“Um, probably a week or less before the match. Yeah, it was a, so I was given the date and I guess the start time, but it was kind of up in the air because of the whole visa process, so before it was actually confirmed, which was literally probably about a week before, it was just a hope and a dream. Which is a lot in pro-wrestling. Until it happens, it might not happen.”

The Revolution ladder match was ultimately won by Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page’s current tag team partner.

Christian Cage also made his first AEW appearance at Revolution 2021. His signing had been teased by Paul Wight prior to his pay-per-view debut.

Wight and Shaquille O’Neal have recently traded shots, leading some fans to speculate that they will do battle in AEW soon. Wight has now reacted to Shaquille O’Neal’s words about a potential dream match between the two heavyweights.
