NXT North American Champion Ethan Page commented on recent main roster call-ups while sending a warning to the rest of the roster.
Several NXT stars have recently moved to the main roster, with Jordynne Grace and Trick Williams officially joining SmackDown, and Je’Von Evans signing with Raw.
With Oba Femi also set to join the main roster, North American Champion Ethan Page has commented on these departures from NXT.
In a promo video filmed following the January 6 New Year’s Evil show, Ethan Page argued that other wrestlers don’t see what he brings to the product.
Referencing recent WWE call-ups, with talent presented as free agents ahead of joining Raw and SmackDown, Ethan Page said:
“I don’t think I’ve ever reached this level of frustration. Not because of this idiot (fan) that’s yelling at me, but because of how little the wrestlers – I’m going to use that phrase very loosely – in NXT appreciate me.
“They don’t appreciate what I bring to the table, they don’t appreciate what I offer them. They don’t quite understand who I am, or what I am.
“Folks, we have our general manager announcing talent taking up free agency, meaning they’re leaving. More weight for Ethan Page to carry, and I welcome it.
“Not a single talent that wanted to interrupt me tonight during my promo time, during my ring time, during my television time, not a single one of you that interrupted me tonight appreciated what I do for you, who I am for you, what I bring to you.
“So now in 2026, I will continue to conquer and set an example. This time, I’m going to escalate things, and set an example that nobody, nobody will be able to follow.”
