It’s fair to say that the reaction to the WWE return of Eva Marie has been pretty mixed. Some fans hate the idea of seeing her back on our screens, and others are intrigued to see what she’s learned since her last run in the company.
On last night’s Raw, another Eva Marie vignette aired, and this time Eva described herself as a role model. According to Dave Meltzer, this is supposed to be a babyface gimmick, but we’ll see what fans think when she finally appears on Raw in person.
Her mention of being a “role model” caught the eye of Bayley, who appears to be very (kayfabe) upset with Eva’s return.
This is why I hate you idiots https://t.co/RXusWmatme

One fan also noted that Sami Zayn once said he was worth 10 Eva Marie’s, but Eva has taken all the criticism in her stride…like a babyface…?
Silly ,DING-DONG , Don’t be upset that the student has become the master.
Sincerely your #SUPERRoleModel #EVALution #ALLEverything #WWERAw https://t.co/PcThxQaAZp— Eva Marie (@natalieevamarie) May 11, 2021
I think he would re-visit that statement! Although I do love me some @SamiZayn , he also has been treated very un-fairly #EVALution #WWERAW https://t.co/9ACAYh2t07

Time will tell as to whether Vince’s favourite gimmick will finally work in the 21st century.
