In recent months, various NXT stars have made appearances on Main Event prior to Raw, helping them get the opportunity to work in front of a main roster crowd prior to a potential call up.
Some of NXT’s top stars have wrestled on the show, including Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes and Indi Hartwell.
It was reported earlier today that two NXT stars, Zoey Stark and Tyler Bate, were set to be in action prior to tonight’s Raw show in Seattle.
We now know exactly what matches are being taped for the show, and one is an exciting first time ever match that is sure to appeal to a lot of fans.
The match will see Tyler Bate take on Dolph Ziggler in singles action.
This will be Bate’s first time wrestling on the Main Event tapings following his recent full-time move to the US based NXT brand following NXT UK’s closure last year.
Ziggler vs. Bate will be taped to air on this week’s episode of Main Event on Hulu.
Elsewhere, Nikki Cross will face off against Zoey Stark.
