Here is an exciting update regarding IMPACT Wrestling potentially working with more promotions in the future.
Last month, it was announced that Kylie Rae had signed a deal with NWA. IMPACT and NWA had reportedly came to terms on an agreement to allow Rae to move on.
As per Fightful Select, NWA Director of Talent Relations Pat Kenney (Siamon Diamond) played a key role in the two promotions reaching an agreement. It was noted that Kenney is on good terms with IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore.
IMPACT was reportedly excited to be working with another company during negotiations. Fightful Select also noted they had been told that there have been talks about NWA and IMPACT working together more frequently.
It was also reported that there isn’t any animosity between IMPACT and MLW currently, and the relationship between ROH and IMPACT was described as positive.
In recent months, IMPACT has worked closely with NJPW and AEW. Kenny Omega currently holds both the AEW and IMPACT World Championships.
At Slammiversary on Saturday, Omega defends his IMPACT gold against Sami Callihan in a no disqualification match. Also on the show, Deonna Purrazzo will defend her Knockouts Title against a mystery opponent, who reportedly isn’t currently on the IMPACT roster.
