Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch announced that she is pregnant and subsequently vacated the Raw Women’s Championship to Asuka.
Asuka, won had won Money in the Bank the night prior, reportedly only found out that she was the new Raw Women’s Champions on the day of the taping, and her excited reaction in the ring was 100% genuine.
With ratings for Raw and SmackDown massively declining, Vince would likely be looking to his big stars like Randy Orton, Edge and Becky Lynch to make returns to TV. However, due to her pregnancy, Lynch will be off of TV for the foreseeable future.
Some have speculated that Vince McMahon may be unhappy with Becky Lynch for her decision to have a child, meaning she will be off of TV for a number of months. However, our sources have confirmed that this is not the case.
WrestleTalk has learned that Vince is not angry at Lynch for falling pregnant and is fully understanding of her decision to pursue a family. Everyone within WWE, including Vince himself, are believed to be very happy for both Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at this time.
There is also said to be no heat on Seth Rollins. While it looks like he is going to still be on TV in the immediate future, there is said to be no pressure on Seth to continue wrestling as Becky’s pregnancy progresses, especially considering the heightened risk of contracting the Coronavirus by travelling to Raw.
