Kenny Omega appeared at the end of AEW: Dynamite and revealed he would be giving Jon Moxley a rematch for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution on March 7, 2021. The rematch isn’t going to be just any rematch either.
Omega named the stipulation. The stipulation is going to be an exploding barbwire deathmatch. I don’t know exactly what all that entails, but it will certainly include barbwire and explosions. I’m also assuming Moxley will do some kind of insane spot that will make me uncomfortable during the live results.
This wasn’t the only match announced for the show. Matt Hardy and Hangman Page will also be wrestling in a Money Match.
Additionally, Cody Rhodes will be competing in a ladder match dubbed The Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. The winner will get a shot at the TNT Championship.
Other matches include Hikaru Shida defending her AEW Women’s Championship against the winner of the Eliminator Tournament. Also, The Young Bucks will defend the AEW Tag Team Championship against MJF and Chris Jericho. Finally, Sting and Darby Allin will face off against Team Taz in a street fight.
