Oh how the partially mighty have fallen. Just weeks after main-eventing WWE Extreme Rules, Lacey Evans is having matches on WWE’s graveyard show, Main Event.
Evans defeated Dana Brooke in what I can only imagine was a thrilling singles match, and as she now seems to be out of the Raw title picture, she may need to get used to these new surroundings.
It was reported that Vince McMahon was very high on Lacey Evans after she debuted on the main roster in late 2018, but she then spent several months walking down the entrance ramp, turning around and walking back.
This combined with her inexperience in the ring severely stunted any sort of push that she was going to get, and it seems that she is for now at least going to be spending the majority of her time on the house show circuit or on non-televised segments.
Maybe she’ll be back at the top the next time Extreme Rules comes around.
