WWE star Ezekiel has discussed skipping NXT for the Raw brand.
On April 4, WWE fans were introduced to Ezekiel, the younger brother of Elias. Unlike many new stars who debut on Raw and SmackDown, he bypassed NXT completely.
His brother Elias spent three years on the developmental brand from 2014 to 2017 before getting called up.
Speaking with KTALnews, Ezekiel was asked about potentially going to the NXT brand at some point.
He said:
“I’m very blessed. I was able to skip the whole NXT process, get right to the main roster. I think I’m growing leaps and bounds, way more than I would anywhere else. I’m getting to mix it up with the top talent in the world on Monday Night Raw, every week, and sometimes SmackDown. That’s definitely where I want to be.”
When discussing potential WrestleMania dream matches, the Raw star said:
“I’d love to go one-on-one with my brother. I think that would be a dream match. Me and him, in front of the world, that would be incredible. On top of that, Shawn Michaels was always my favorite wrestler. That is a dream match for sure.”
Ezekiel came up short against former NXT Champion Seth Rollins on last Monday’s Raw.
