Family Of WWE Legends Disappointed At Omission From Notable Anniversary Graphic WWE

The Wembley Stadium in London, England may be set to host its first wrestling show in over 30 years on August 27 for AEW: All In, Summerslam 1992 is still fondly remembered to this day.

The event would see over 80,000 fans pack Wembley, primarily for the main event involving home-country favorite British Bulldog and Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart for the Intercontinental Championship.

Despite its historical significance for WWE, UK wrestling, and the stars involved, its importance has been surprisingly omitted from a recent celebration of the famous stadium’s 100 year anniversary.

The Wembley Stadium Twitter account would post a graphic featuring many memorable sporting and entertainment moments, as well as sporting legends including Lionel Messi and Muhammad Ali, and historic musical acts such as Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger.

Posting via the official Twitter account of the British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith’s daughter Georgia would express disappointment at the omission of her father, writing:

“Disappointing to see that my dad and my uncle Bret aren’t included in this.”

Despite not recognising Summerslam 1992, Wembley Stadium would recently promote AEW: All In during a high profile FA Cup football match, click here to find out more.
