An upcoming WWE SmackDown show set to be held in Atlanta on September 17 will no longer be taking place in the city.
The official Twitter account for the State Farm Arena broke the news earlier today, Tweeting:
SHOW UPDATE:
WWE Friday Night Smackdown on September 17th will no longer take place in Atlanta. Refunds are available at all points of purchase.
The reasoning behind the show being moved from Atlanta is yet to become clear. Atlanta-based fans have responded to the news, expressing their confusion.
@wwe that’s some real bullshit. Could you maybe have made that decision before you sold tickets literally yesterday. Now I have to sit and wait until Ticketmaster decides to give me a refund
