Eagle-eyed fans spotted a major issue on last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown surrounding Otis and his Money In The Bank contract, potentially spoiling where the storyline is going to end up.
WWE uploaded an image onto Instagram showing Otis and Tucker posing with the Money in the Bank contract which guarantees Otis a world championship match. However, fans have spotted a major issue with the document.

As you can see from the picture, Otis’ Money in the Bank contract is only eligible from 14th June 2015 until the 15th of June 2016. The former is the date that the Money in the Bank pay-per-view took place in 2015.
While this could have just been a printing error on the part of WWE, it could indicate a way that they can get around Otis carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase, without having to give him a Universal Championship shot.
Plans obviously changed once Roman Reigns returned to WWE at SummerSlam last month, and Otis’ plans surrounding the Universal Championship picture may have been one of the things dropped when Reigns returned.
It is important to note, as we stated earlier in the article, that this could just be a mistake on WWE’s part. For the latest on WWE’s plans for Otis as Mr. Money in the Bank, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
