The final viewership figures for the January 8 AEW Battle of the Belts special, featuring three title matches, have been revealed.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the Saturday show drew 704,000 viewers, with a 0.27 rating (355,000 demo viewers) in the 18-49 demographic.
For comparison, the previous night’s edition of Rampage drew 588,000 viewers, with a 0.24 (308,000 viewers) in the key demo. Last Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite drew 1.010 million total viewers, with a 0.43 (560,000 viewers) in the 18-45 demo.
In the Battle of the Belts main event, Britt Baker defeated Riho to retain the AEW Women’s Title. Also on the show, Sammy Guevara pinned Dustin Rhodes to become the interim TNT Champion, and Ricky Starks bested Matt Sydal to retain the FTW Title.
