In 2016 WWE introduced the “Legacy” wing into their Hall of Fame. The inductees have featured in early years of professional wrestling and have all been posthumous. Up to now, there have been 26 inductees into the “Legacy” wing.
WrestleVotes, who reported several of the names inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019 before they were officially confirmed by WWE, is reporting some of the names for the “Legacy Award Class” this year.
A few of the names included in this years 2019 WWE Hall of Fame Legacy Award class are: Wahoo McDaniel, Jim Barnett, Luna Vachon & Playboy Buddy Rose among others.

Among the most notable names mentioned is Luna Vachon, who many have said deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a regular inductee rather than in the “Legacy” wing. Moreover, she appeared for WWE in the late 1990s, last wrestling for the company in January 2000. By comparison, Lou Thesz, who was inducted in 2016, started wrestling in the 1930s.
