Finn Balor has commented on costing Damian Priest his World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Survivor Series.
At Survivor Series, Damian Priest got his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship, challenging Gunther in a rematch from their title match at SummerSlam.
Priest seemingly had the match won, before Finn Balor made an appearance during the match, nailing Priest with a Coup De Grace on the outside of the ring, costing Priest the match.
This was the second time that Balor has cost Priest against Gunther, with him getting involved in the pair’s SummerSlam championship match, leading to Priest losing the World Heavyweight Championship.
Balor and Priest faced off back at WWE Bad Blood, with Priest scoring the victory in the match, but Balor was unable to let that defeat lie, continuing their rivalry.
Taking to Twitter after the match, Balor commented on costing Priest, simply writing:
Finn Never Forgets
Balor currently reigns as a World Tag Team Champion alongside JD McDonagh in the Judgment Day, with the pair defending the titles against the War Raiders on this week’s Raw show.
