Finn Balor: ‘I Love The Idea Of The Forbidden Door’

WWE SmackDown star Finn Balor has recently spoken about his appreciation for wrestling’s ‘Forbidden Door’.

Finn recently spoke to Cultaholic, where he said that he would love the opportunity to wrestle in other promotions, if WWE allowed it. Balor said:

“I love the idea of the Forbidden Door.

“I feel if I have the opportunity to wrestle in Japan or Mexico or Europe, for whatever promotion, I’d love the opportunity to be able to do it. Obviously, contractually with WWE, they take care of all my dates and bookings and travel and organize everything. If somehow we could set up a relationship with WWE and these other brands touring around the world, I would love to challenge myself from different performers from different regions.”

Balor is currently in a feud with Roman Reigns over the Universal Championship, with the expectation being that Reigns will battle Balor’s ‘Demon’ alter ego at Extreme Rules on September 26.

Balor recently revealed that he pitched to move to NXT UK prior his return to the blue brand earlier this year.
