As announced on last night’s episode of WWE Raw, Finn Balor has been pulled from this season of Mixed Match Challenge. After Balor was pulled from house shows over the weekend, speculation ramped up that he may be injured, and this seemed to confirm those rumors.
The only information the fans were given was that “Balor was hurt”, linking in with McIntyre’s beatdown of the Irish native last week. Curiously enough, he is still being advertised for TLC, so hopefully his injury, whatever it may be, is not too serious.
PWInsider have now reported that Finn is ill rather than injured, and that it is believed he will be able to compete on Sunday at TLC.
In his place, Bayley will now be tagging with Apollo Crews for the remainder of Mixed Match Challenge. Can’t wait to see him enter at number 30 in the Royal Rumble.
This takes the number of injuries and replacements in this season alone of Mixed Match Challenge to an astronomical level. It really is cursed.
We at WrestleTalk wish Finn Balor the speediest of recoveries.
