Raw star Finn Balor was sent home early from WWE’s recent South American tour for undisclosed reasons.
Balor wrestled on Wednesday night in Santiago, Chile in a three-way with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler then was sent home, causing him to miss live events on Friday and Saturday in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Dave Meltzer reported on the Wrestling Observer that he did “not know of an injury” to the Irishman.
Balor took to Twitter to apologise for missing the shows:
I am sorry I could not preform in #WWEBuenosAires
Lo siento no pude competir en #WWEBuenosAires— Finn Bálor (@FinnBalor) December 7, 2018
Balor is expected to be on Raw this evening in San Diego for the final build to his match with Drew McIntyre at TLC on Sunday. If he is not at the show then there could be more to the story than meets the eye.
We will report any updates on Balor’s status and reason for missing the shows when we receive further information.
