Anyone who watched NXT last night would have been shocked out of their seats when Finn Balor suddenly turned heel on Johnny Gargano, seemingly aligning himself with the Undisputed Era.
Balor looked to have come out to the ring to aid Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, but instead hit Gargano with an overhead kick and allowed UE to beat down on Ciampa.
Balor then hit Gargano with a brutal shotgun dropkick and brainbuster onto the ramp before slinking off while being all heely.
The crowd went insane as expected, with one fan audibly shrieking “go to hell, Finn! Go to hell!”
United States Champion AJ Styles, as well as OC teammate Karl Anderson saw the turn and made quick comments on Twitter.

To answer Anderson, I would imagine it’s a mixture of poor booking and not being on NXT.
