As WWE is set to hold it’s first major premium live event in the United Kingdom next month, as Clash at the Castle comes to Cardiff next month.
Many of WWE’s top stars are slated for the show, including the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship main event between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
Edge made his return to WWE back at SummerSlam, when he attacked the Judgment Day during their match with the Mysterios. This has led to speculation of a match between Edge and Finn Balor, or a six-man tag team match with the Mysterios against the Judgment Day, at the Clash at the Castle show.
Finn Balor was recently on WWE’s El Brunch, where he was asked if he would be wrestling on the show. Balor said that, while the card has not been confirmed, he has been informed that he will be in Cardiff for the show.
He said:
“I certainly hope so [Balor responded when asked if he’ll be wrestling at Clash at the Castle]. Obviously, you know the way WWE works and the card hasn’t been announced but they’ve sent me a schedule that I need to be in the UK so I don’t know who I’m going to wrestle or who I’m gonna face but I’ll definitely be there at the show.”
Finn also spoke about how he has ‘unfinished business’ with Roman Reigns following the controversial finish to their title match last year.
