Former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor has captured the United States Championship for the first time in his career.
On tonight’s (February 28) episode of Raw, Balor took on Damian Priest for the championship. Balor defeated Priest to capture the title.
After the match, Priest cut a heel promo on the Balor and the fans, before attacking Balor, cementing his heel turn heading into WrestleMania.
Priest’s reign was the longest reign with the belt since Dean Ambrose’s reign in 2013/14.
