Health and safety? Health and schmafety. At least, that was the attitude of the crowd at EVOLVE 107 when a fire alarm went off.
The fans in Melrose, Massachussetts stayed exactly where they were as the alarm sounded at the indie event and instead paid tribute to WWE superstar – and former ROH favourite – Seth Rollins with a chant of “BURN IT DOWN!”
The alarm went off twice, once just before the third match on the show and then again during the fourth bout.
Generally whenever a fire alarm goes off, people are meant to leave the building in an orderly fashion. Not wrestling fans, though!
Seth Rollins himself was clearly amused by it all, as he even apologised to EVOLVE booker Gabe Sapolsky with this tweet…
Sorry @BookItGabe! 🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/cFlZJ03yxH

In results from the show (which continued without further incident as it was a false alarm!)
Josh Briggs pinned Dominic Garrini, Adrian Alanis pinned BSHP KNG, Darby Allin pinned Jarek, Anthony Hendry defeated Timothy Thatcher by submission, Austin Theory defeated DJ Z and Joey Janela to retain the FIP World Heavyweight Championship, Saieve Al Sabah pinned John ‘Bad Bones’ Klinger, Chris Dickinson beat Tracy Williams by DQ and Matt Riddle beat AR Fox by referee stoppage to retain the EVOLVE World Championship
And in a dark match, Adam Cole retained his NXT North American Championship defeating WALTER.
