First-Ever Impact World Championship Match Announced

Impact Wrestling has announced a first-ever match for the Impact World Championship. For the first time in Impact history, the title match will be contested between two women. Champion Tessa Blanchard will put her title on the line against Taya Valkyrie next week on Impact.

Blanchard won the title for the first time earlier this year. She managed to defeat Sami Callihan at Hard to Kill, marking the first time a woman had won the championship.

This is not the only match announced for the upcoming episode. The following matches have also been announced for the show.

  • No DQ Match – Havok vs. Su Yung
  • Joey Ryan vs. Acey Romero
  • Petey Williams vs. Moose
  • The North vs. TJP and Fallah Bahh
