First Ever NXT Casket Match At Halloween Havoc

First Ever NXT Casket Match At Halloween Havoc WWE

For the first time ever in NXT (according to commentary) a casket match took two stars to the limit at Halloween Havoc.

With the casket match being noted on commentary as the first in the history of NXT, Vic Joseph also mentioned the last casket match which featured the Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Commentary however did not note that the Undertaker’s opponent for that last casket match in WWE was Rusev, currently known as Miro in AEW!

After midway through the match saw Crews getting tossed off the top rope and technically through the casket like a table, Waller attempted to be declared the winner but the referee declined.

The match continued as Crews appeared back on the entrance ramp with a gang of druids bringing out yet another casket that commentary noted was even bigger and studier than the last.

With the duo continuing to brawl on the ring apron next to the casket in the final third of the match, finally Crews was able to drop the lid and get the win over Grayson Waller.

Elsewhere already on tonight’s NXT premium live event, Halloween Havoc, a new North American champion was crowned and a brawl took place in a spooky haunted house!
