First Look At Zac Efron As Kevin Von Erich In ‘The Iron Claw’ (Photo)

The first official photograph has been revealed showing off Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich in the upcoming biopic The Iron Claw.

The film will be produced by A24, and follow the tragic story of the Von Erich family whose members shaped the wrestling landscape across several decades.

The picture shows Efron’s character in the ring, and can be viewed below:

As the image shows, Efron has dramatically changed his physique in order to accurately mimic the body of a professional wrestler.

The film will likely explore the tragic side of the Von Erich dynasty, several member of which suffered unfortunate fates.

Other names attached to the project include:

Jeremy Allen White, who will play Kerry Von Erich.

Harris Dickinson who will play David Von Erich.

Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich

Stanley Simons as Mike Von Erich.

Lily James will also be featured in the film, however her role is currently unknown.

The Von Erich family was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2009 by Michael Hayes. Kevin Von Erich, who Efron portrays, has commented on the film.

The link with WWE and Hollywood has grown strong in 2022 alone, with Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan recently appearing on Young Rock and Chucky, respectively.
